Caps pass. That doesn't do anything for them. They have plenty of middle 6 wingers and about 1000 LHD.

Lauzon plays both sides and is solid. Donskoi has been putting up pretty good production. And they save cap. Seems like a win move

Again, they have too many of those players as well. Donskoi isn't going to beat out Ovi, Mantha, Wilson, Sprong, Oshie, and Sheary.

On defense I guess they could use Lauzon? But if Caps trade Kuz it isn't because they want LHD. A top 6 center needs to come back in the trade or just good pick/prospects so they have room to go trade for another top 6 C.

If one of Donskoi or Oshie is on your 3rd line, you have a very good team . You need a player like that to carry a 3rd line imo

Still prefer grabbing a righty vs a lefty, but if they look to add size again this offseason, Soucy is just about the best case scenario

It's going to be Oshie. The 3rd line will probably be Shear-Eller-Oshie.

That’s a strong 3rd line

Soucy can probably be yours for a 3rd or 4th round pick.

I don't think spending a 2nd is necessary.
