Description

Although it would be nice to spend all of the cap space in free agency, the Isles have made fantastic deadline trades the last two years (Pageau and Palmieri/Zajac), so I left just under $4.8m to leave room for a potential move. Plus the Isles will need money next year with Ryan Pulock becoming a UFA and Noah Dobson becoming an RFA

Isles will have plenty of space for a move at the TDL this way. I agree, Isles shouldn’t make a move for the sake of making a move, that’s how we ended up with Ladd.

Fair enough but 3 million should be enough and if needed move leo/hickey at the tdl. No need to pay to move leo with so much cap space, thats just poor asset management.
