Adding a bit of a personal wishlist on top of the rumors for today. VGK seems to be in on Strome for some reason (I guess they are out on Eichel, then? Which probably also puts "us" out on Eichel...). Danault is a big pizza guy, so what better city to go to than NYC for that? If Strome does go, it'll finally be the perfect opportunity to really see if Chytil can be what everyone thinks he can be.

Honestly though, I'm not sure ole Danault would really fit in... you'd probably want to put him on the 2nd line given the money, but would he mesh with Panarin? And if not Panarin, would he mesh with the young guys instead? I'm not really sure. I think the line he is on here would be the best for him, but it looks weird as the "3rd line". Oh well. Perhaps as alternate lines, you put Panarin with Zibanejad and one of the kids, the other two kids with Chytil on the third line, and the Danault line as the second line. I think it'd just be nice to have someone that can win a damn faceoff around here. Danault is a very useful weapon.

I'm really shocked that BOS isn't keeping Ritchie. 2mil might seem like a slight overpay, but I think it'd be very worth it, even to pay up to 2.5mil. The only issue is his ice time; maybe he wouldn't be happy with that. But he'll still get 2nd PP time playing in front of the net (or 1st PP, if he does better than Kreider). This 4th line is good, grindy, physical, and skilled enough to play 12 minutes a night. Can be a MTL situation where all 4 lines get good ice time, which definitely amounted to success over there

As long as Igor is healthy and thriving, Georgiev is dealt at the deadline for picks/prospects, or maybe a rental of some kind. Gauthier and Jones may go for picks as well depending on team health. I'm not sure we'll see much Jones given the Nemeth acquisition. Speaking of, I gave the "worst case scenario" on his contract, given the rumor is just a range on both term and dollars.
