I think with Rod as coach he will perform a lot better. When Rod played, they had to lock the gym doors. Plus, Bear is still young, and in the NHL, defenseman prospects typically take longer to develop, usually finishing developing at about 25. Bear will most likely end up being paired with Slavin or Cole, who are 2 underrated defensive stalwarts. So he will grow to be a great defenseman.
