With the news that it’s probably Bogosian and not McCabe, I think they really need to circle back to Cole.

I think Suter makes a lot more. Based on Russo's tweets he's likely out of our price range.

My guesses:
Foligno 2 x $2.5M
Goligoski: 1 x $3-4M
Bogosian: 1 x $1.5M

If we cut Bonino, I could pay him 4.5M

No real need for Bonino IMO.

I know these are still discounts but I would like to see another year on the Goligoski deal. I just hope that McCabe is walking to CHI for serious money and term if we can’t get him.

My guess was 1 year since Russo specifically said Goligoski would be willing to sign a 1 year deal and re-circle in January in his article. But I agree, I'd be happy with 2 years

I was mainly looking for center depth, but I didn't think there was anyone else I could sign for the cap I had left

Haven’t read it yet. But that makes sense.

I think you bring up a young guy or make a hockey trade with Greenway. The moves being made now are prepping a new generation.

I'm hoping we can trade Greenway for a center. I like his ceiling but he gives me Coyle flashbacks and it's frustrating to watch shifts where he dominates and then others where he turns invisible.

I think he’s hit his ceiling. Thing is he’s only a complimentary piece but he’s got value and I think his value will probably never be higher than it is now. The value he and Fiala get will be crucial in 3-4 years.

Seems like Suter's camp is looking for a 4 mil x 3/4 years deal.

I'd be open to it as well. He'd slot in as the 2nd best C behind EEK, with potential to have more of an offensive upside. Pair him on a line with KK or Fiala could pile up some pts.

Crap!! We lost Cole and Nick Foligno.

Philip Danault went for 5.5Mx6 years. Wow was I underweight on him. No way would the Wild have done that long of term.

Wennberg went for 4.5Mx3 years. It seems like we could have done that.

Also looks like we're out of the running for Eichel. Which is probably good, all things considered.

Now it's going to be on the kids to step up. There's still a chance to get Pius Suter, but we'll see

I had a feeling Danault would be expensive. I never wanted him, we already have a younger, better version of him with Ek. Still need an offensive center but it sounds like it's Eichel (if the price comes down on him) or bust for us... Wennberg got way more than I'd be comfortable giving him.

Now I kinda hope we sign Chara, just so he can run Suter next year.

Foligno is getting upper 3s and Cole got 3 mil. Neither is worth that and I never understood the desire for Foligno.

That does make me feel better on the situation. I just thought it would be fun to see the Folignos play together
