I can understand that, however realistically this is Boston's last year being a "top" contender and overpaying on one guy is a sacrifice I'm willing to make if it means we have a better chance next year.

side note: Freidman said that he thinks BOS signs him to a 5x6 that's not ideal but i'm fine with it tbh

I agree but there's no other option that's really close to Coleman on the market anymore

it's manageable the first 2-3 years and the final 3-4 we will be rebuilding and it wont matter its roughly a 1M overpay but we can stomach that currently
