True but he is still worth more than a late 1st. This does not make the Caps better.

explain yourself... he's a 1c making less than 8m with term? if you are strictly basing his value off last year that would be a mistake considering he had COVID and missed 30 days and didn't have a training camp. Also had a new coach w a new system.... finished the year hot with 16p in 20 gp. the year before that he was on pace for like 70 points.... is 70 points bad now days or are people on this site really putting that much stock into a down year? the guys had 3 coaches in 5 years? lol . that's the issue with this site people get on board with stupid narratives and ignore facts.... Kuzy and Forsberg has very similar stats you think NASH is moving him for a late 1st no bc they arent idiots

people hate Kuzy but watch Washington trade him and he scores 75p and win a cup and those same people will complain that we moved him

THANK YOU. God this site is full of people that get caught up in their narratives and know nothing about other teams.

Caps fans are some of the worst fans in sports....They're blinded by some of the past mistakes and always assume they know better than the GM's(especially this one when he actually won us a Stanley Cup)

90% of the people that complain about the Caps letting Trotz out of his contract were the same people who wanted him fired in November/December the same year...I was a season ticket holder for 15 years and can't remember the number of times I've heard some fo the stupidest **** from "fans" in the seats around me lol

Sorry for bombarding your post...just letting off some steam lol

Oh I completely agree. At one point i had a guy tell me Dillon was an overpaid 3rd pairing Dman that the capitals would need to eat cap so a team could "rehab" his game lol. like wtf? now is heworth 2 2nd round picks .... i guess but i would have been thrilled with a 3rd tbh. the cap space was my main concern.

People on this site create these false situation and then like sheep to the slaughter a majority of others follow. Like yeah lets trade an established 1c-2c that carried us to a cup for a 28-32overall pick THEN replace him with a 2nd year guy and expect him to carry the load of 2c.... Kuzy is still good he had COVID like 30+ million other people in this country... lol. If we get a good return for him im okay with trading him but this trade isnt good at all. Id want something like Bemström Domi and late 1st for him
