Vegas and Buffalo ignore NYR and trade amongst themselves

It’s creative and not bad, though I think BUF would probably prefer an unprotected 1st over Chytil. But what do I know I woke up to Avs fans clamoring for Eichel just to keep him away from VGK.

I dont know how the additional pieces would work out, but the trade would work for all 3 parties.

Can't speak for Buffalo fans, but the team gets pretty close to their "4 1sts" asking price..

Can't speak for Vegas fans, but turning Karlsson into 2 1sts to get the deal done is a creative approach.

Rangers don't get Eichel, but they also don't pay Eichel price and they still get a center who would be an upgrade over Strome. He's also signed for a reasonable 5.9 for years to come, which is NOT the 10m you'd be paying Eichel. They don't blow the team up now in trade pieces, and they don't blow the team up later for cap reasons.

This is not a bad idea at all.
