The jets probably want Wilde not bellows

Wilde has a MUCH higher ceiling than Stanley. Stanley seems pretty set as a depth guy and Wilde’s ceiling is a top 4 pp qb. If the Jets want Wilde for Stanley, Isles should decline.

Stanley looks like a future top 4 defensemen with considerable offensive upside. Idk what you watched, but pretty much the only knock on his game is his acceleration, which is understandable for a guy that big and is something he continually is improving on.

The jets don’t need to move him. Right now, Wilde has less value than Stanley. That trade would probably make some jets fans mad but the jets don’t have rd prospects so it makes sense.

As for ceiling, if we want to talk about that, Stanley’s ceiling is chara and Wilde’s is byfuglien lite. If you want to talk about realistic potential, then they both likely pan out as top 4 d with Stanley being much closer right now.

Oh i agree with that but your valuations are all screwed up. Stanleys ceiling doesnt come anywhere close to chara.

I mean, you clearly haven’t seen him play enough but there is a slight possibility where he could become a dominant top pairing guy. Same for Wilde. Ceiling is the absolute best a player could become. Wilde can be a byfuglien type guy but just lighter. And Stanley a chara type guy. So they both get there? Probably not.
