Glendening can win faceoffs and nothing else. I really don't like the idea of paying more than league min for a guy like that.

He should be a fine 4th liner for the Stars, but it's questionable whether he'll live up to his AAV.

Even for a 4C, Glendening is pretty awful. Perhaps he can do better if he gets easier minutes in DAL, but he has been, essentially, a worse Antoine Vermette for most of his career.

Not too bad, he's okay for a 4th liner. It's still weird to me that Yzerman didn't move him at the deadline though.

Great role player. Dallas may have not been the right destination, but they got him on a steal of a deal.

Solid depth sign for Dallas. Glendening is great in faceoffs, very good in PK and will help their bottom-6. I like the salary and the term as well.

$1.5 is a steal for him; all the DAL fans complaining now will be choking on their words in a few months. LGD is a stud 4th liner and PK specialist. He was forced to play much higher in the lineup in Det because of such a lack of C depth. In Dal he can stick to what he’s good at, and you’ll love him for it!

Good luck in Dallas, Luke!

He’s been a good depth player (by our standards) on a bad red wings team. Can win draws, plays the PK, and scores most of his goals on the back hand
