I think they go something like:
Bunting Matthews Marner
Kerfoot Tavares Nylander
Mikheyev Kampf Anderson
Simmonds Brooks Spezza

But they better look to add a top 6 LW IMO

Brennen Menell was a sneaking add, I like it.

Both those guys are depth for the Marlies

No it's not. It's minimum top 3 in the division next season. Outside of Florida and Tampa Bay, who's challenging for top 3 spots besides Toronto? Boston is on the decline. Montreal isn't close to a playoff team with they way they're built. Ottawa isn't quite there yet, they still need a top centre to be able to compete. Detroit is still years away from being in the same breath as the words "playoff spot", & Buffalo is just Buffalo.

It's a playoff team. They're system works in the regular season - a smart team defensive game that can capitalize at any moment given their offensive fire power. They just need to be able to find that edge in playoffs but they're 100% a playoff team.

People are very quick to get upset about this. Assuming Kerfoot and Mikheyev are moved as it's been reported as of late, I assume the lineup to look like:

Bunting - Matthews - Marner
Robertson - Tavares - Nylander
Mikheyev - Kampf - Amadio
Simmonds - Brooks - Spezza

Rielly - Brodie
Muzzin - Holl
Sandin Dermott

Campbell
Mrazek

Personally I really like this lineup. Bunting is a good netfront presence for the first line. Robertson is ready to make the jump and could likely be a calder finalist playing with Tavares and Nylander. Keefe finally gets his shutdown third line, and the fourth line is reliable as we saw last year. Our defense core stays the same which is fine considering it wasn't the issue last year, and our goaltending is much better. Not a horrible offseason. We could also see Mikheyev moved, but I'm not sure who replaces him. It's definitely not Ho-Sang because he is not a shutdown forward

That’s very optimistic for my liking. If one of the top 4 goes down to injury this team will struggle to score, like really bad

I dont think the Leafs are done quite yet. Like I mentioned there was a possibility the Leafs move Mikheyev and Kerfoot. Maybe they try and sign Saad? Its a bit of a stretch but hey, crazier things have happened

With some roster moves and a Dermott trade it gives them $4mil to spend and a 20-man roster

Bunting - Matthews - Marner
Robertson - Tavares - Nylander
Mikheyev - Kerfoot - Kampf
Simmonds - Brooks - Spezza

Rielly - Brodie
Muzzin - Holl
Sandin - Liljegren

Campbell
Mrazek

A LW upgrade would really be the only thing I’d do.
Or a 3C which would allow Kerfoot to move up.

Agreed I don’t they are done yet either. I think they see Kampf as the 3C and look to move Kerfoot for a LW if there is a trade that makes sense

Maybe Toronto takes a look at Cizikas?

In have a feeling they see Kampf as the new 3C. Maybe a Kerfoot trade for a top 6 LW

I definitely wouldn’t rule it out.

Dubas himself said he’s not done.

Edit: Maybe Pius Suter. I wouldn’t mind him. He could play top-6 LW
