They're gonna want quality over quantity for Eichel.. not this garbage. & Ottawa will pay more since they're a divisional rival.

That's a very bizarre return for Eichel haha. If I'm Kevyn Adams I'm probably asking for Jim Stu, a first, and a d prospect like Sanderson, Brannstrom, or Bernard Docker and not a ton of loose change

Like Florida paid more for Reinhart? Seems like this theory is as useless as it should be, I’ve always hated this justification. Not like the Sabres are gonna be any good before Eichel’s deal expires anyway so they might as well take the highest offer regardless of which division the team is in. Eichel will be in Boston by the time the Sabres are good again anyway.

Stutzle and Sanderson should be off the table. No other team was willing to move their prime young pieces (Byfield, Zegras, etc.) so why would you think Ottawa is willing to do that lol

Florida did pay more for Reinhart.. Sabres we're asking for a top 10 pick for him. Florida ended up giving up a 1st and a quality prospect. That's the very definition of paying more

A likely late 1st and 19yo goalie recently drafted in the 7th round (essentially magic beans) is NOT worth more than a top 10 pick lmaoooo

Yeah, that's why he hasn't moved yet neutral . Am trying to find where in my comment I said Ottawa would be willing to do that

Levi, is not a great prospect you know and the pick wont be top 10... same as considering Aidan McDonough a quality prospect and FLA have Spencer Knight for their future, so Levi was more than expandable so no, it's not always the case that they're paying more when trading within the same division
