Description

The trades here are meant to be illustrations of trading Carrier & Reaves with picks to a team for AHL players. Guys who are not real prospects. Then if VGK can move Howden to the AHL and sign Nolan Patrick and Dylan Coghlan for minimum deals, they CAN keep everyone on this 21 man roster. But there's no real room to bring a player up without LTIR and/or emergency call ups after you play down a man for a game.

I have no idea why Vegas wanted to add Dadonov. To watch them lose to Montreal after their centres got outplayed in every matchup with Montreal and decide they need more wingers is baffling to me

Again, this was not meant to be real trades. I was looking at teams with some cap space and had AHL players who were well over 26 years of age. Odds are, if you are still in the AHL at 26 and not consistently in the NHL, you aren't gonna make it. Since I don't know what other teams real prospects are, I wanted to find trades for players they were pretty certain they could bury in the AHL, no problem. These are examples.
