did not see BOS coming out of this.
He is a BOS style player that is for sure.

I will say this about that contract.
That's a lot of money to pay someone on the downside.
He's 34 this year, but hell BOS loves running with these old players.

Like the fit but it’s an overpay at 2 years we should have sign him between 3 to 3.25 he’s a good 3rd line on a contender team

replace the D with an N and you got the right word.

He's really slowed down the last 2 years.
He needs a much smaller role.
The realization that Nick was never a guy with much skill and a lot of heart has to come into play here.
He's not one of these guys who ages well. That's a reality that I think TOR found out the hard way.
Had hoped he come back to CBJ and teach the younger guys. But I guess he's done with that. Truth is, he never won anything so there isn't a whole hell of a lot there to teach I guess.

So in a sense a non-official trade was made between Toronto and Boston

Kase + Ritchie come to Toronto and Foligno goes to Boston

i mean he is a top 9f but isn't worth 3.8m maybe like 2m is good hopefully he preforms his full contract but it'll be good leadership w/ marchy and bergy after losing kerjci which i'm still crying about tho tbh
