Boston can send Moore through waivers and he'd only be a $1.6 million hit against the cap. Not sure $1.6 million cap dump is worth a 2nd round pick.

Oilers decline, they're in market for goaltending so why would they give away Koski for free

because he's overpaid + really bad, they need to clear up his cap to get room for a goalie

That's a bad take. Holland in his recent presser said he's comfortable running it back with a Koski/Smith tandem. Also, the goalie's market is basically completeand the only way to get legit goalies now will only be through trades AND there are teams calling up Holland cuz they literally want Koskinen on their team for example Nashivlle.
