Description

apparently the leafs have about 3.5 mill to spend on a top 6 LW. Ritchie, Tatar, Galchenyuk are just some that come to mind, but ritchie would be the best fit for this team overall. This team needs a bit more physicality in their roster permanently, I know they signed Curtis Gabriel but I dont see him in this lineup consistently. A guy like Ritchie who can stay in your lineup would be a great signing. Tatar hasn't been consistent so adding a guy like that is the last things the leafs need, unless he can turn it around. Galchenyuk was great for the leafs, had good chemistry, was great in the playoffs , and could also play on the Pk. The leafs have the pk set the way I put it. Galchenyuk could be the other big option, sign him for around 1mill- 1.25 mill and then sign a defence man with the remaining amount, could also be a great way to go.

Not sure I would call Ritchie a top 6 winger. That contract is pretty bad too.

He would play in the top 6 because matthews marner, tavares and nylander are too soft. they need him on one of the lines. The contract is an overpayment to get him signed doesn't have to be that, in my actual opinion he is closer to 2 mill.
