Would it though? He'd have two yrs left. He's a fully functional player. 4-5 dman.

We already have 4 RD (Hronek, Seider, Stecher, Lindström). We would have to rearrange our roster significantly to accomodate Myers or simply waive him and send him to Grand Rapids in order to make this deal.

18 million in cap will cost you more due to those factors.

If you add Woo and a 2nd or if you take Stecher back and add another 1st then you're closer.

It wouldn't have to be to Detroit. Just was a thought of a team that would appreciate another 1st rounder and probably don't have great depth so they could also use the player. That said if it's not there it could be elsewhere.

The trade is proposed for next summer so there is only 2 yrs 12 mil left on the deal.
