Tampa got demonstrably worse this offseason, montreal just lost their captain, boston got better, florida meh, buffalo is trash, detroit/ottawa could maybe be decent but that's speculative

As long as the big 4 do what they do Leafs wont miss the playoffs. Especially if Matthews continues his growth. Besides Friedman said they looking to add a top 6 LW per a recent tweet so I dont think Dubas be done yet

TOR has indicated it is protecting its remaining cap space — approximately $3.5M — for a forward, likely a winger for the top six. Could be someone remaining in free agency, or from another team needing cap relief. We will see where this goes. Stay tuned.

There isn't a LW ufa out there worth signing. Rielly and Kerfoot in a package deal for a topline LW. TATAR is the exact opposite the leafs need for LW

Brandon Saad is still there. Not a chance it happens / works with the cap space. would love to see Bertuzzi on this team from Detroit, or at least someone similar to his playstyle.
