Take out the 1st and switch it for Greenway, then add in Khovanov. That's is what a package close to what might be offered for Dvorak.

Hahaha you obviously have problems with value. Looking at the market comps this offseason, take out the 1st and its fair value in the nyi trade.

Everyone declines. 1sts in general arent just given out like water snd especially '22 1sts. Teams arent going to be trading them away for peanuts.

Damn bro I disagree these are trades that AZ would take and also where are the peanuts? Isles get rid of really bad contracts, Pens get a 30 goal scorer, Dvorak will cost alot more than you think and the wild get rid of rask, Edmonton get a good top 6 guy and bottom 6 guy and get rid of a bad contract
I think you need to look at trades that have been happening and figure out the value tbh your way off

Nah AZ want a lot for him I dont think that would get him but i can see one of those two added or traded with a pick

I would basically see it as Greenway, Khovanov, and the 2022 2nd for Dvorak. We would be basically paying them the 2023 3rd to take rask off our hands.

Greenway by himself is worth roughly about a low 1st, and Khovanov is a B-level prospect with top-six center upside. Combine that with the picks and I think it would be fair for a second line center like Dvorak. But that's just my opinion, of course.

I don't disagree, but just because we'd play him there doesn't necessarily make him one, now does it. He'd more than likely only be a stop-gap until Rossi is ready to take over as 1C anyway, so.... 🤷‍♂️

My bad on the minny trade, wasnt really looking at that but that one MIN accepts imo.

1-EDM. At this point broberg is still a top prospect. If you take out the 1st i could see that but as of now its a big overpay.

2-NYI. This value is really atrocious. If the cost to move ladd was 2 2nds, tell me how youre going to get a 1st and a 2nd here. Lets look at all the cap dumps that were moved this offseason.
Tyler Johnson - 3x5.
Cost to move - 1 2nd.

Shayne Gostisbehere - 2x4.5.
Cost to move - 1 2nd.

Andrew Ladd - 2x5.5.
Cost to move - 2 2nds.

So 1 year of 2.5 and 3 million (5.5 total) should cost... a 1st and a 2nd????? Max it costs 1 2nd to move both the contracts.

3-PIT. So for starters with rust and kapanen on the right side, getting kessel doesnt really seem to make sense. But if they were to go after him, kessel @3.4 doesnt get a 1st back let alone a 1st+. I dont think you understand how much 1st round picks are worth.

I dont disagree that the pieces getting moved out of ARI (outside of kessel to the pens) make a lot of sense to the other teams, but nobodys gonna pay an exorbitant price for it. The reason armstrongs been able to acquire so many picks is bc hes not trying to rip everyone off. Look at seattle, they made no trades and got f*cked bc of it. And the reason for that? It was bc they were charging outrageous prices.

Komarov and Hickey aren’t terrible contracts, they are still NHLers. Not going to cost more than getting rid of a bottom six winger in Ladd for less cap hit when buried and less term.

Jets accept. Niku needs a fresh start and would likely be on waivers at the end of training camp and picked up before Arizona could claim him otherwise.

As much as I'd love the Thrill back that's a crazy overpayment. Hextall hangs up the phone.
