Not if we did 4 mil for Hagel. McCabe is a shutdown D-man who leads by example on and off the ice. On the ice, he is a physical presence who moves the puck quickly and makes good decisions. Off the ice he is a character guy who puts his teammates first and is someone who impacts the locker room in a good way. He is a natural leader, should have worn the C in Buffalo imo. He is mobile, smart, and has untapped offensive potential. His offensive ceiling isn't crazy, maybe mid 30s for points but he still has room to grow on a team where he gets more O-zone time (likely won't get that in Chicago). Pair him with a guy like Jones to let Seth do offense or pair him with Murphy to make the best shutdown pair in the league
