Description

First things first.. classless org for what they did to fluery

Next, if the rumors r true and that’s all buffalo wants for Eichel why in the world has Vegas not taken the deal. Thats a steal for Eichel

Dump dadanov… He has to have been acquired for a 3 way deal…. But I don’t have the brain capacity to do that

Trade Tuch to NYI. Instead of Tarasanko, they get a younger, safer option. Maybe not a perfect fit on the top line there but oh well

Forwards
1st line- This is an absolutely elite 1st line my goodness
2nd line- Great 2 way line with Stephenson proving himself in the playoffs this yr
3rd line- Prob first time in VGK history they have a “young guns” line. These are all guy who I think can grow as players and become better on a strong team like this
4th line- VGK always has a solid 4th line
Defense
1st pair- Good pair
2nd pair- better than some teams 1st pair
3rd pair- pretend that Gustafsson only signs for 2.5 and its a great pair

Good but I hate vgk for how they dealt wt Fluery.

Vegas likely hasn’t the deal for 2 reasons: Peyton Krebs being included makes them extremely hesitant because Kelly McCrimmon spent several years scouting him, and cap space, which is now more true with Vegas’s recent a quisitions. Vegas could now have to move out Reilly Smith with a second winger to Make a deal work

In Eichel Draft +2 yr he put up 57 pts in 61 games. Eichel is a top 10 player in the NHL already and he is signed long term at market value for him. Theres just no way you can think Krebs will be at an Eichel level.

As for cap, I assume it will be a 3 team trade with the addition of Dadinov recently and I see Tuch as the odd guy out. Watching him in the playoffs, he had chances but he was streaky. One game he's all over the ice, the next game you could've told me he was a healthy scratch. He has high potential but there's no way he can reach it on VGK where he won't have a spot in the top 6.

Honestly, I think the NYI trade is good for both teams. Lou should hit me up for his job.

We'll there is also another issue as well....the injury. Eichel is going to miss time. If he has fusion surgery, it could be a four to six month recovery. If he has the surgery he wants, it's a 6 to 8 week recovery, which is part of the reason he wants it. No team is going to give up a premium asset like a Rossi, Byfield, Kakko etc....for a player who is injured. At the deadline or the summer when he is healthy, that;s a different story. But if you trade for Eichel now, you'll have to give up a roster player or two plus prospects and then start the season without Eichel

Buffalo may go for this as they need RW.
IDK if any one or group of players can replace Eichel but I would certainly make this trade.
