Lazar would be claimed in 5 seconds.

Also, we can stop with studnicka being a center piece in big trades if he doesn't make the team in his draft plus 5 year (referencing other AGMs)

There will be plenty of money once DeBrusk is dealt. Though I could see him taking like 2mil or something cheap. Might also go back to Czechia, I remember reading something about how upset he was that his kids didn't speak Czech or have much of a tie to his homeland.

See my comment in team explanation (I added emphasis)

DeBrusk could be on the move. Moore and/or Wagner could also give them some extra cap space if they send them to the AHL.

Moore is effectively in the AHL above. But yeah a few more bucks if Wagner sent down.

Honestly I feel debrusk has been pushed pretty far down the depth chart. Could see him traded too

If DeBrusk doesn't get moved I don't see them having him at RW. They tried last year and it flat out just didn't work. Foligino could slide to RW and allow JDB to play LW again.

is the NHL going to allow for taxi squad this coming season now that travel is fairly normal?
if there isn't a taxi squad, Boston has about $1.6M in cap space before moving anyone, not $3.5M...

The answer is definitely not, but it was still a really bad day. I feel like Sweeney kind of just blacked out at one point and lost track of how much money he spent.
