I quite like the idea of Zucker to Toronto. I can definitely see the Leafs moving Liljegren, they seem too hesitant to use him for anything. He wasnt been given an opportunity and should be done right by

Think it's beneficial for both teams. Pens gave up Addison and 1st for Zucker, for Liljegren and a pick recoups assets lost.

And we can't afford the risk on him maybe or maybe not being effective again.

Elliotte Freidman legit said the complete opposite, links below. Zucker was still good, just had a freak injury and didnt mesh with Malkin. He played great with Crosby and even Carter.

If you look we have only about 855K in cap space not 3.5M. it will probably go up by 1.5M with one or two of the depth signings ending up on the Marlies. But that article tweet doesn't say anything about Zucker and the leafs wont be doing a team any favours, the pens want to get out of that contract it will cost them, that's the market right now.

Lol what? Pens retain 2M. Theres a difference between wanting to get out of the contract (Beagle, Eriksson, Roussel) and wanting change because he didn't fit. He still was half a point a game, while playing without a center for half the season.

It doesn't matter look at all the other deals, Vegas wanted to move Fleury (reigning Vezina winner) they literally got nothing. Nate Schmidt a third. Will butcher was dumped. If a team wants out of the player they aren't getting a good return in this market. And like I already said we definitely don't have the cap.

We need gavrikov as he’s the only defender who plays good defense for us. He’s gonna do great with boqvist this year.

Pettersson is a top 4 dman that can replace Gavrikov. Plus he is Swedish.

Well we’re getting our “red army” (chinahkov, voronkov, marchenko) prospects starting to come over and gavrikov is still fairly young. And signed for cheaper. We’d be better off keeping him.also we don’t get Peterson in this trade
