So Vancouver can bridge them in or give them qualifying offers, Montreal won't offer him over 10 mil that's too much.

The offer sheet and the ARI trade is almost the same so why not just trade for Pettersson, something in the middle of those offers; Drouin, 1st and 2x 2nd's and a prospect.
