Debrusk odd man out

Description
Yesterday was nuts. Sweeney filled a lot of holes. Bottom 6 is way better than last year and might actually contribute some offensively. The writing is on the wall for Debrusk. Traded him along with Wagner for a 2nd round pick. Coyotes have an abundance of 2nd round picks. Debrusk has high end potential and playing on a top line in Arizona will reflect this. Try moving Moore with the 3rd acquired from Calgary to Seattle or whoever. Seattle likes the extra pick and can use Moore if healthy as a bottom pairing/extra dman. I feel Rask is finished in Boston. Hopefully he ends up retiring and not signing elsewhere.

I wonder if the Leafs take a look at DeBrusk with it coming out their current priority is to get a top 6 winger

Canes could be an option for DeBrusk…they are looking for help on the wings in the middle six.

Non-DeBrusk comment…why sign Hakanpaa and have Clifton be an extra. To me, Clifton would be a really good value 3RHD. Why over pay for another defender?

If BOS re-signs Krejci, this will be a near-perfect off-season for them. They re-signed some key players (Carlo, Hall), have a much better bottom 6, and increased defensive & goaltending depth. Solid work. This should be a very good team next season.

I don't think DeBrusk+Wagner return a 2nd. What is DeBrusk's value at this point?

Completely agree for the Hakanpaa part

Coyotes have 100 2nd round picks. Debrusk will probably be better than most of the 2nd rounders they select.

Probably but his value is low right now.

There was some talk that Seattle or EDM might be willing to part with a 2nd for DeBrusk. Adding Waggner though might drop that.

I think Arizona + Debrusk and Moore/Wagner are perfect fits.

Arizona has 5 2nd round picks next draft. 12 million in cap space

I still think Boston could target a player like Christian Fischer from Arizona who only has $1million caphit and could essentially replace Wagner in a deal.

Debrusk + Wagner/Moore

for

2nd Rounder, Christian Fischer, and maybe a 4th-6th round pick

I will already be happy if we get a 6th for DeBrusk+Moore+Wagner. 27 and 14 are cap dumps.
