Ha, if the Rangers were going to do that, they would have already.

This suggestion was an overpayment in March. Price is dropping.

None, ZERO of your prospects including Kakko are A prospects at this moment besides Laf and I know he's "untouchable" this is what it takes to get a top ten NHL elite player

    ha

Based on your trade, its clear you know nothing about the Rangers or their prospects.

So say if Eichel is still a sabre come deadline time. And Kakko has his normal horrible point production I’m sure Kakko will be in trade talks again.

    That coach is gone, kid.

This is why its important to know what you are talking about.

Eichel's neck is probably bad from shaking his head at all these Sabres fans.

Okay, let's assume you are correct and Lafrienare is the only A prospect.... Tell me what team is giving you an A prospect and has the cap space for a hurt Eichel? I'll wait. Go back in time and look at the Rick Nash deal. Columbus was expecting to get Kreider, McDounagh and some, and they didn't even get 1 player the fan base was expecting. Buffallo is losing any deal that has to do with Eichel, the longer they wait the more complicated and painful it's going to be. This is the reality of the situation.

You can’t blame the coach for everything. Kakko was one of the worst players in NHL history in 19-20. He doesn’t have 20 career goals yet. He can’t skate. He’s not going to be anything special.

Shaw can be put on LTIR and we can bury some guys to get under the cap.

Oh wow a good defensive winger that can’t score, that every team has. They are valuable, but you probably don’t want one with a 2nd overall pick.

Then why does everyone keep demanding him in a trade?

It's also ironic that you post this in the thread with Casey Mittelstadt as the 1C.

Mittlestadt scored at a 44 point pace this year over 82 games. Progress isn’t getting made with the Eichel going to the Rangers. It’s not going to happen.

Yeah I know. I give it 48 hours when they explicitly drop out of the sweepstakes like all of the other 33 NHL teams who aren’t interested in your ludicrous prices.

Oh no that means a top 10 center when healthy will still be a sabre. That’s so disappointing!

If you look at that draft class kakko is 1st in goals, 2nd in points and already has developed a NHL 200 foot game and he's not even 21 years old. Your argument lacks any real substance other then some fantasy league mentality. Try again

That’s not saying too much right now. I would rather have a lottery pick score right away than develop a defensive game like Eichel, Matthews, and Rantanen did. I just don’t see a high offensive ceiling. 4/9 goals were scored on Dustin Tokarski..

Well, you said he won't be anything special, I disagree based on his progression thru 2 years. You can't disregard a whole draft class because no one that year is storming out the gate at 19 years old taking over the NHL like Connor McDavid, Austin Matthews or Jack Eichel. Some young players take time. Points aren't everything. Kaapo Kakko was a no brainer choice at #2. There isn't 1 GM in the league who wouldn't have taken him. Here's a fun fact, Matthew Barzal, Claude Giroux and Mark Schiefle were still in junior hockey at Kappo Kakko's age, and they all turned out okay. Don't you think?
