Other than the goaltending and bringing in TDA, I don't hate it either.

Well...Ned for sure. That was a tough one. I do like Freddie/Raantta more than Mrazek/Reimer. MAN TOR is in for a surprise. The difference between the two defenses of CAR and TOR is enormous. Anyway, don't sleep on Pytor either. VERY good goalie prospect. I don't actually know if he's coming back to North America yet, but I do like him in net for the Canes long term.

I think that is a bit rich for Saad for 4 years. Probably $4.5M to $5M for 4 or 5 is what he is looking for. Very underrated player who's full attributes on the ice don't only show on the scoreboard. Wish the Hawks would bring him back.

I like these moves - would hope to get Saad on 2-3 years for that term though. But may have to overpay a bit to get him here which if that's the case and we have cap space this year and over next couple years to re-sign players than why not.

Yeah, it may be a bit too much money for a 4 year deal, but we may have to overpay since he is one of the best forwards left on the market.

That and the only other team confirmed in talks are the Devils, who still aren't even at the ****ing cap floor.

Well Saad just signed with the Blues for 5 years $22.5M so $4.5M a year which is what I pegged him at
