Description

It seems to me, based both on the cap situation and on the availability of roster space, that the only way trading for Tarasenko makes sense is to trade Beauvillier. And to me, that makes no sense for us.

The other option is trading Bailey to St. Louis and based on the fact that he was exposed to Seattle, I suppose it's possible that's a route they would go down. But if you're St. Louis, why would you settle for Bailey when you have other teams interested in VT91?

In short, really think we're better off staying the course; get the RFAs signed, bring in Parise and bring back Palmieri. I'd prefer to let Cizikas go, especially seeing what Coleman and Goodrow got, but it sounds like he's Priority #1 right now in the org (maybe #2 after Pelech).

Honestly I’d rather Tarasenko>Palmieri but clearly that isn’t gonna happen. I wouldn’t be upset w trading Bailey+ for VT tho, but then we don’t have any playmaking wingers

If Isles are offering Beauvillier, that's probably a better return than what NJ or CAR are offering, but agree with you that it doesn't really make sense for the Isles. Seems too risky and I personally like Beau a lot.

I'd go for Vlad over Palmieri too, but it sounds like Palmieri's deal is close to being done. I could stomach a Bailey for Tarasenko deal, but again, I just don't think St. Louis would go for it.

Honestly I don’t want parise either, I want to see what golyshev can do. OR, somehow we fit Palms and Tarasenko w out trading Beau and our forward lines could be
