    Good let them do it. Dubas has done very well to steer ckear of bad contracts. Let’s keep it that way. Kampf is bad enough.

    I was referring to Dubas not ovcer paying guys, not just in this year's free agency

    reffering to your comment only on Dubas not over paying players. Not just this free agency as he really couldn;t do that with no cap space to fill a whole roster.

    Marner is overpaid by a million or so. Tavares was not. Dubas has done very well with the ufa’s he’s chosen… besides kampf.

    Yes they have done okay with the free agents this year. But by signing 3 guys as high as they did they are literally straped to do anything else. Do you think this roster can win ?
    They don;t have room to find impact LW or 3rd liners

    There’s no issue with paying good players big money. The cap has never been that much of an issue. They easily navigate around it.

    They have not been able to, and if you look at any team over the past how mnay years that are deep playoffs, non have 3 players paid that amount. Yes good players are paid but not as much as they are or they better perform when it matters

    Is their any other teams with 3 players over 10m on the roster? Pretty loaded argument if you ask me. Not very intelectually honest.

    None of the teams that have gone deep in the playoffs have a maple leaf painted at centre ice. Maybe that is the issue. Maybe we can attribute it to other things that only apply to the leafs.
