In the Buyout FAQ section of the sight, it states the following regarding 35+ contracts:

A buyout of a 35+ contract that is two years in length or longer and:

1. Has a signing bonus in the 2nd or later year, OR
2. Is front-loaded

Will not benefit from a reduced cap hit.

So I found two 35+ contracts that were recently signed that seem to avoid points 1 and 2, Ryan Suter and Mike Smith. Both are signed for 2+ years, but both contracts are back-loaded and neither of them have a signing bonus in years 2 or later. Therefore, it stands to reason that if either of these contracts were bought out after year 1 the teams would benefit from a reduced cap hit despite both contracts being 35+, is that correct?

I'm just verifying since the buyout calculator says that since they're 35+ contracts there will be no effect on the cap hit; I'm guessing the calculator doesn't look at the salary structure or the years where there are signing bonuses, which makes sense since these types of contracts are very rare.
