So far reports are saying this along with Kakko Laf, and possibly Chytil and Kratzov. I wonder what the “reasonable” offer was at that point? Strome and 23 2nd. Take it or leave it

O shest as well

Blues decline and honestly I don't think the Rangers do that deal either.

Maybe I’m inferring based upon Rangers fans and the above. If you aren’t willing to part with those two, it would be thought you aren’t willing to part with higher rated prospects. The list of “untouchables” seems to be growing from NYR

I think with Zibs reported resign price they wont be in the sweepstakes much longer. They are probably better off betting on Chytil or converting Laffy to center

I don’t disagree. I guess my point is, all things aside, when you trading for Eichel, the best piece shouldn’t be a most likely protected 22 first (since all prospects above are untouchable, you move onto that). That just shows you aren’t really interested at all (this pending you get the medical info prior to trade and he’ll be playing, which he’s skating, golfing, and reportedly playing organized drop in games)

I dont think Eichel is fully healthy, all those things really tell me is his legs and arms are working, not his neck. However I do think Rangers are like 1 foot out the door the entire time and thats why they havent gotten the medical records whereas other teams like Anaheim, Minnesota, and Calgary probably have

Skating and playing pick up sure as pick up is prolly no contact **** all. Golfing with a bad back/neck seems like a bad time haha

I know, and I can see why BUT with Fox on the right side and we all know what he brings to the blue line, i dont see having a RHD like Nils being such a requirement. His ceiling will never be that of Fox but he does fit that style RHD. My point being is that he is a small defensemen who brings offense, but we have all we can ask for in Fox. Schnieder is a RHD who i rather see fill in RHD 3rd pairing

I hope he doesn't go for that much but theres no doubt that deal would get him to broadway. In a perfect world i would drop either the 1st rd pick or 1 of nils or krav but that is not getting a deal done. Maybe in a few weeks or so the price will drop, but as of today this will get it done.
