Beauviller would absolutely have to be in that trade but I don’t see why the Islanders would be even interested in trading him.

The Leafs missed the boat IMO on a Rielly trade. Any contending team has filled there LD spots. I see the Leafs resigning him, which I don’t agree with. But way better than letting him leave

the key is a reilly extension with the Isles, without it, it might be a young player and a pick, not many teams needing LHD
in a prior ACGM i did do Beauvillier, and then flipped him for Bertuzzi,

Beauvillier and Bolduc would be gold for reilly, but short of that i like Bellows Bolduc without a reilly extension, so perhaps a condition 2nd if rielly signs in addition to the 2 youngsters

With the returns that ristolainen and Jones just got, if all you are asking for is two prospects, one drafted in 2016 and 2nd rounder from 2019. Bolduc is ok, but for a guy who is 6’4, Draft Dynasty put together a comprehensive profile of the Isles prospect and noted that he doesn’t use his body enough. Leafs have enough tall players that don’t use it.
