I don’t think Robertson has shown enough to be an NHL regular yet, let alone throwing him into the top 6. Rather see him play on a more sheltered scoring line with Spezza. They should look to add Tatar and Ritchie by acquiring Kesler’s contract from the Ducks. Let Robertson develop more on the Marlies until he forces Leafs to call him up

If Robertson isn't ready for top 6 minutes they should put him in the AHL to play on the top line. He would likely develop better getting top 6 minutes

I agree, but I also worry that he gets "over developed" in the AHL. If he is ready for the NHL then he needs to be in the NHL.

Same thing goes for Sandin and Liljegren. Once a prospect is NHL ready then keeping them in the AHL will just hold them back..
