Good 3rd/4th liner who provides offense. I like this signing a lot for the Habs.

Really good bottom 6 player, but don't think he should've signed in Montreal. Looking at their forwards there is a good chance he's not a regular

This guy was always a pain in the butt against MTL.

A shame he wouldn't sign earlier in his career.

Let see what's left in him.

Let's go tabarnak!

Issue is MTL line is full lul

Hoffman-Suzuki-Caufield
Drouin-KK-Toffoli
Anderson-Evans-Gallagher
Byron-Paquette-Armia

And this is without Lehkonen being signed. So guessing hes one of the pressbox boys with Byron

It’s a nice signing, although this probably means we aren’t adding another centre. So Jake Evans is going to have to take on a tonne more responsibility and take most of Phillip Danault’s role.

Perreault and Byron have both played centre, so my guess is they try both of them out as well as Paquette as the 4C.

Should be a solid 4th liner. This pushes Lehkonen, Byron, or Poehling out of the top 12 so I'm interested in what happens next

I'm thinking Evans, Perreault, Paquette, and Poehling will battle it out for those 2 C spots

With all the signings, it appears Poehling’s path to the NHL this season is completely blocked.

Often competition leads to the best results. A rotation between the 4 could also work.

Not-so-subtle effort to appease the fanbase and sponsors after the Mailloux debacle.

Looking at his stats the last few years, definitely on the downside, good 4th liner with speed though, but his offense is drying up....not sure why he went to MTL, hhes probably press box bound.

If he can still be an efficient center, he can become our 3C quite easily. If not, he's almost a lock on the 4th line.
