    I wouldn’t trade Guhle. Him and Logan will be an amazing top four for a decade

    No thanks. I would take Byron only if you retained on his contract. I do not want to pay him 3.4M for 2 more years.

    I'm not sure I'd call that equal. Buffalo should know what they're getting out of Smith. No one knows what Drouin still has. Krebs is a forward while Guhle is a defender and from what I have seen and heard, he's not as good of a prospect. Peohling may have a better career outlook than Hague, but he is also a forward while Hague is a D. If you were to slot them up position wise, Krebs is younger and has a bit better point production than Poehling. Guhle and Hague look about even.

    So the Knights offer is better here. The only exception is that the Canadiens first round pick should be higher than the Knights next year. Switch throw in Romanov or KK instead of Guhle and it's closer. Doubt Buffalo has must interest in Drouin though outside of pulling a Phoenix with him

    Friedman refuted that idea today. The sabres ask was definitely around krebs, the other pieces were wrong.
