Hoffman and Smith don't make much sense for the Avs since we won't compete for another 3-5 years. I'd rather sub those two out, put in Colin White, and take a cap dump. Though maybe that's what you're suggesting with those two? Unfamiliar with the two of them, but Avs want younger players. Not older.

That is an outstanding haul for the Avs. Not a winner next year, but holly crow they're going to have prospects like Toronto

Ya, Hoffman and Smith are in the package for cap reasons. Colorado can also then flip Smith somewhere else as he is a UFA
