if Pionk and Copp want too much

Description

I don't think WPG should be paying Pionk anything north of 6.25 mil and Copp 3.75 mil. If this is the case- trade them.
Can we at least convince one decent UFA to come to WPG?

He is more offensive than Severson and plays in all situations.

What?? No way the jets do that devils trade. Pionk is easily about the same value as severson, without the contract. With the contract situation, pionk is worth more. Pionk has 2 more years of team control and can easily be signed long term. Severson is a UFA in 2 years.

As for people saying Pionk is less valuable because he’s an offensive defensemen, WHAT ARE YOU ON AND WHERE CAN I GET ME SOME?? Why did dougie Hamilton just become like a 6th or 7th highest paid defensemen in the nhl? Both dougie and pionk can defend very well and bring a ton of offense. I’m not comparing the two because Pionk is not hamilton but just drawing a picture. Come on, give the man some respect. He was our best defensemen last year and proved he might be a top pairing guy if he can replicate last season.

Yep. There’s no way the jets replace pionk if they move him. Those types of players don’t come by here easily.

Pionk is a Top 4 defenseman and from what I seen a great team player. If I was Pionk I would ask for a big payday. Werenski got his payday almost 10 mil. Pionk is not Werenski but he is damn good. If Werenski is 10 mil is Pionk worth 7.5 mil- maybe
