Another absolutely ridiculous offer for Bertuzzi.

If Nashville moves Forsberg it's for futures because he won't resign. Not for a package including another UFA and a bottom 6 guy they don't need.

Detroit does not have to trade Bertuzzi.

Bertuzzi have not asked for a trade.

Detroit have not put Bertuzzi on the block.

This is you trying to trade for a player Detroit doesn't want to lose.

Typical Maple Leaf fan: "We'll throw in Engvall to make it fair!"

Thinks about it...

"But you send back a 4th!"

I would rather keep Rielly and lose him for nothing than end up with a defensive pairing of Dermott/Holl. That's a horrible pairing.

What makes you think that Yzerman will or wants to trade Bertuzzi and why would he accept this offer?

To be a true Leafs trade proposal on here it has to include Engvall or Mikheyev. I think it's a AGM rule now.

So Matthews, Mikheyev, and Engvall for a 7th.

Once again Bertuzzi isn't on the market, And once again a lousy late 2nd is nowhere near enough for Tyler.

So Forsberg (2M Retained) for a dman we have no use for and would have to turn around and find a trading partner and hope the return is worth trading Forsberg for, a bottom 6 forward we don't have room for, the picks are fine... the rest is useless to us or cause more problems then worth

First off listening to offers doesn't mean he's on the market, Yzerman is just taking calls and has said numerous times in his pressers that he wants to keep Tyler long term. And secondly yzerman said it would take the Mantha deal for him to move Bertuzzi and a freaking late 2nd is nowhere near the Mantha deal.

Just because he is listening does not mean he will trade him for nothing. Hell Gretzsky was traded. Anyone can be traded. He is listening and that is what a GM should do, but to say he is listening and he is shopping are two totally different things. He probably has had GM' s call on all his players from Bertuzzi, Larkin, Sieder and his 1st, and he has what he would want if he were to pull the trigger. Becuase he is listening does not mean he will take anything less than what he believes is fair market value.

That being said a late round 2nd is NOT what he would be looking for in a trade for Bertuzzi.

You sound read mad my dude. If only there was another example of Yzerman sticking by a young player on his team on to trade him later neutral https://eu.usatoday.com/story/sports/nhl/2016/04/20/jonathan-drouin-tampa-bay-lightning-stanley-cup-playoffs/83280728/

I'm not mad just stating a fact, Bertuzzi isn't on the market. as far as Drouin was concerned he had an attitude problem which Bertuzzi doesn't. Drouin thought he was better then everyone else just because he was picked higher and Yzerman didn't like his attitude.

Talk about comparing apples and oranges. Do you even know the situation that took place in Tampa? I will assume you either do not or just being a typical Leaf fan and trying to justify a stance with any and all things you can use to make your case.

1st Drouin and Yzerman had a very public and bad relationship. Yzerman wanted him to play a certain way, with more energy, Drouin thought differently. When sent down to the AHL he failed to report and demanded a trade. Essentially, Droyin forced Yzerman's hand and when he did trade him he got back Sergachev.

So please explain where a. Yzerman and Bertuzzi have had this form of relationship, b. If Drouin who had proven nothing at the point of his trade can get Sergachev, makes you think he will take a low 2nd round pick for a proven player?

Again your logic and statement are flawed.

Comparing Drouin's situation in Tampa to Bertuzzi. Hilarious. To quote former NFL WR Steve Smith..."Ice up son."
