They have 3.5M to sign someone else. As much as 5M if they move on from Mikheyev

Problem is there won’t be a lot of action on Mikheyev. As much as he isn’t negative value normally, flat cap season has made him very difficult to move without taking something back or sweetening the pot a little. Not many teams out there looking to add a bottom 6 with very little offensive upside.

Once they send all the AHL contracts down it will be closer to 3.5M

Not sure if they are AHL contracts per say - but the guys they signed will be down in the AHL

Everyone they signed except Bunting and Mrazek are on 2 way deals. All the guys on 2 way deals are just depth adds for the marlies.

Engvall can be waived and buried in the minors, which sounds like is their plan. Brings them to $3.48M. Trade Mikheyev and they have 5.125M.
