Oh great another Buffalo fan thinks they can just destroy another teams prospect system.
You will not sniff an offer this good.
Buffalo phuked this up.... the return is only getting smaller at this point.
Only chance Sabres have is if he comes back PLAYS AMAZING, and then gets traded.

Bro I literally only took 1 prospect. And they still have Suzuki, Rees, Gunler, Pashin, ect.

Eichel is a legitimate top 10 center when he's at his best. And when you've shown that ability on the Sabres you know it's real.

Carolina should be drooling at the thought of an Aho - Eichel - Teravainen line

I think this is the most realistic option the Sabres have. Let him have his surgery, keep him out until after the Olympic break completely healthy and have him play the last 15 games and show he is completely healthy. It keeps him away from Buffalo during the majority of the season and he gets traded before or at the draft before him NMC kicks in. I think Kevyn Adams is playing this the right way, he cannot lose an Eichel trade like the Sabres did the O'Reilly trade. He hold the cards here whether Eichel and his agent like it or not. The real question is will Kevyn hold firm. So far he has.

Hahaha....
No chance.
Necas, Jarvis Bear are top young players for Canes.
Get a clue.... NOBODY WANTS JACK THIS BAD.
AS THIS POST, NOBODY IS APPARENTLY TRYING TO TRADE FOR EICHEL.
Everyone has dropped out bc they are not giving up 4 1st for a injured, overpaid player with attitude/ maturity issues.

Pass from the Canes, giving up way too much. Take Necas, Skjei and Bear out and replace with Bokk and Nino and that might work. Otherwise you can keep Eichel or move him elsewhere.

If you want Necas and Jarvis (which is a no go), you have to take Gardiner. If you want a first too then we get Olafsson.

We don’t need Eichel. Giving up one of the best young forwards, a top prospect and our entire 2nd pair.

Just because the Rangers trade away Buchnevich for pennies and then act like Schneider is an absolute untouchable in an Eichel trade doesn't mean you need to dunk on people with actual good ideas.

Nobody is getting a young superstar talent with term left for a couple of AHLers, a cap dump, and a 2nd.

This trade makes sense, even with necas leaving they have Eichel, Trocheck, and Staal down the middle with Rees and Suzuki in the system there shouldn't be much of a worry

Butcher is better than Skjei. You are upgrading your 2nd pair LHD and at a really reduced salary

I really don't think the Sabres lost on the ROR trade. They trade the good ROR for cap space...and especially when the the Swede retired (Hoglund?). they had few prospects and cap space from the trade. But typically Sabres management wasted the cap space on Skinner. So even if the Sabres can get some prospects and cap space to rebuild with a Eichel trade, can the Sabres spend that new found cap wisely?

Basically O'Reilly turned into Tage Thompson and Johnson who is still in college, they absolutely lost that trade

the only people believe Butcher is better than Skjei are folks still reading NY media articles. Butcher is a cap dump. Skjei is not.

No lie there....
Butcher had a great first 20 games as a rookie, but hes brutal in his own end. Butcher is a career 7th dman. Without defensive skils.
