Description
With all the teams backing off from Eichel because of the asking price (4 1st rounders basically) I don't think that Buffalo will end up getting that. Preds give Fabbro, Tolvanen, 1st which is close to asking price.

Not even close to enough for Eichel, that said NSH is rebuilding anyways so it doesnt make sense to begin with

I mean, BUF has a weak right side on defense -- so if Fabbro develops, you could have a very nice future top 4 with Power - Fabbro // Dahlin - Jokiharju. He's also still young, at just 23, which fits with the rebuild in BUF.

If* he develops, thats not what theyre trading there 1C for. Power - Dahlin Samuelsson - Jokiharju then what ever combination of the rest of their prospects. They need forwards

Literally every prospect you trade for in an Eichel trade is an "if*" -- at least Fabbro has shown that he can play in the NHL over the past 2 seasons. I wouldn't say he's met expectations yet, but he still has all sorts of potential to become a legit top 4 defenseman.

The whole league laughs in Buffalo's face.
They might get what they are asking, IF they allow Eichel his surgery and show he isn't impacted by it. Otherwise they can sit on him, allow his health to degrade and his performance to be affected, then trade him for peanuts in comparison.
