Description

Predicton: Mikko Koskinen loses the 1B goalie job and is put on waivers. MK goes unclaimed and will need to report to the AHL Condors. In the AHL he will be a spare goalie and will need to decide if he's ok with that or would like to terminate his contract. Best case he agrees to terminate and Edm gets $ on the cap, although that's probably doubtful.

You bury Koskinen to save $500K? He is as good as or better than Stalock so I don't see the point.

You can forget your pipe dream of him terminating (lol). Why on earth would he forgo that gift of a contract Chirelli gave him?

Holloway will be in Bakersfield at least to start. They were saying Holloway would be on the opening roster but only for Cap purposes and will get sent down 1 day after.
Koskinen will be the backup to send him down to save 1.1 Million and still have 1.5 million on the cap does not make sense. They will see how things go and 30 games in if the goaltending is bad they will make a move then or possibly the trade deadline.

That's true, to start this would not be the situation. I could see Stalock being more reliable though and if that's the case, MK being immovable, burying would be the only option.
