Curious of what you guys think?

I think it's a close call between STL and FLA. The Blues added a ton of offense and FLA added Reinhart, who I believe will be a 65+ point scorer next season.

Over the long term, I think ARI has had a terrific summer, so far. They've added a ton of futures while taking advantage of the flat cap. VAN, LAK, and NJD have also made big strides, at least on paper, imo.

PIT, VGK, and CHI have left me scratching my head.

Winnipeg

Like they added Dillon and Schmidt to that Blue line and have a former Vezina winner and a solid top 9. Sure they lost Applton but they got Perfetti and Vesalainen who could make a case to replace him

Only concerns are backup goaltending as losing Brossoit hurts and they backup options still available are all notable downgrades

I didn’t put too much thought into it so there may be a better option but Arizona

Im going devils. Winnipeg is also a great choice. STL to me has balanced itself with losses and aquisitions,

It's gonna be interesting to see how they draft and develop all of the assets they've accumulated. They don't have a great track record.

I mean all things considered wouldn't Kraken be the only option since they didn't even have a roster before this year lol

Realistically though I'm going with Devils. The additions of Hamilton, Graves and Bernier have bolstered their back end tremendously.

I agree that the Devils have improved tremendously. I picked STL b/c of my pro-Devils bias.

Blues is a good choice, but I'll still my hand on that for now since they still haven't dealt Tarasenko. The return for him will dictate very much what direction they're going. I just don't see him returning there.

Everyone said we were the most improved team 2 years ago when we added Simmonds, Gusev, Subban, etc...And we both remember what happened. Gonna be much, much better this time around.

Before the offseason the Kraken would have been playing with only Henman on the ice.

Vegas gets worse in net but is the same elsewhere. Chicago gets better as their defense and goaltending improve, Pittsburgh arguably got slightly worse. Tanev was replaced well but McCann was not.

Now teams who stayed the same as last year Toronto, Colorado, Washington

Vegas sold high on Fleury. Hard they traded him last offseason, they would've had to retain substantial salary. At least they saved themselves $7M AAV. If Lehner doesn't have a solid season in net, Vegas management will be ripped apart for losing MAF. But, they didn't really have another option after they signed Lehner.

And is Seattle better today, lol? Most people are not too fond of their team.
