NYR pass. Eichel has had too many injuries and kakko/LAF are untouchable young players and for good reason. You would be looking at best with Geo, Schnieder 1st and krav, or instead of Schneider chytil.

I think a healthy eichel gets that and probably more but the circumstances have dropped his value considerably. He isn't pulling kakko and lundkvist in the same package

Players like Eichel at his age are never available. He’s been an elite center ever since he came up. Adam’s has no issue holding on to him too. He’s holding out for the best deal and he has a year to do so before his ntc kicks in

Yeah can't blame Adam's for that, but waiting creates more problems because it puts Adam's on the clock and teams will wait til the 11th hr, he's better off getting a decent package now and moving on with the rebuild, he's got himself some good young players to build around, a disgruntled jack eichel doesn't help

Kakko first 114 games, 19 goals, 21 assist, 40 points.
Zemgus girgensons first 114 games, 21 goals, 21 assist 42 points. Kakko being an untouchable is crazy.

I understand what you’re saying but if Eichel is back to normal form they can get a massive return at the deadline.

It's not fantasy hockey counting points. Kakko has tons of potential and he is untouchable because his upside is very high. I watched every game last year and at 20 years old is starting to figure it out, points aren't everything, look at his underlying numbers, the jump from year 1 to year 2 is stunning

Just comparing two good defensive wingers. That don’t really score. I’m sure once Kakko has another horrible point production this season you guys will be disappointed.

For some unknown reason Drury traded one of the best assets for an Eichel trade, Buchnevich, for nearly free.

Adams best move would be sending Eichel out west and not having to see him too much the next 5 years. Giving him away to the Rangers for a bad deal would be foolish...

Kakko had the 2nd highest defensive metrics for all forwards in the league while playing on the 3rd line. Expecting him to produce coming from the SHL is insane. Giergensons didn't either have good metrics or numbers that's why he is expendable and wasn't a top 3 pic in recent years as kakko only just finished his 2nd season with Covid being known to hurt younger players more than the vets.

I mean it could happen, but I think gallant is going to give him some good ice to showcase his scoring, especially with buchi gone. I understand your point though, we'll see what happens

It looks like a game of chicken right now. I think the rangers eventually give in because Dolan is impatient and there’s no way they have a shot at competing in this division without a real #1 center.

I dunno I like zibanejad and if they went a different route and upgraded number the second c they’d be fine if their younger guys step up

JE had more points in his rookie season than Laf and Kakko have had in their three seasons combined.

I have 0 interest in a trade w/ the Rangers anyway. They don’t have the right pieces. The main piece should be a center. Wingers are the RBs of the NHL. They’re typically not worth what they’re paid unless it’s a rare talent like OV.

Yeah the Rangers make no sense.
