Description

Off-season according to me.

I didn’t touch the Johnson for Seabrook trade even though it’s an L because our GM isn’t smart enough to take full advantage of the resources provided.

The Keith trade was an absolute W so I also didn’t touch that for obvious reasons.

The team as presented below isn’t necessarily better, but the long term outlook is better.

This team is positioned to pursue him in FA should he A. Not be sign and traded anywhere else. B. Things go wrong with this team and they finish near the bottom again. Since this is my revisionist history let's say Colorado makes CBJ a pure rental offer they can't refuse. Seth Jones signs with us in FA the next season for wayy to much money (depending on how he plays), potentially replacing a traded murphy, and we still have a future.

Assuming Fleury reports id take him over Grub anyday, IMO grub got too much term and Fleury is just a 1 year thing and there's always good goalies on the market so next offseason you could just replace him
