Your incentive for Ottawa to take on John Moore is to take on even more salary.



Clifton would be a 3rd pairing defenceman on the right side or a healthy scratch.

Wagner would be a healthy scratch at RW because Drake Batherson, Connor Brown, Colin White and Austin Watson would all be ahead of him on our depth chart.

All for a 6th round pick.



This doesn't make any sense for Ottawa.
