Why does TOR fans keep trading the same players for Bertuzzi?

I dont understand why people think Bertuzzi's value is so low. The Wings were listening to offers, not actively trying to move him. Look at the Mantha deal, they would have been happy to keep him, but what the Caps offered was too good to turn down. A Bertuzzi trade would probably look similar

Maybe it isn't undervaluing Bertuzzi maybe they are overvaluing the players off the bottom half of their roster.
