Doesn't matter. BUF isn't doing VEG a favor by retaining on a #1 center that they desperately need. They'd rather take back a $5m player and add a prospect or draft pick instead. That's 5 years of dead cap space. Adams doesn't have that long to fix this team.

Retention isn't a issue if he had 1 year left. But asking a team to take on a 5 million dollar retention for 5 years would be widely expensive. Your looking at multiple 1st just for that aspect alone. Vegas would have to sell the whole farm for the Sabre to do that.
