When he played with Gurianov when he got 4 goals vs Calgary I always wanted him to go back in the lineup, so when he was going back vs Colorado in game 7 I was excited. I was telling everyone that he was a very good player, but nobody knew who he was. When he did what he did vs Colorado everyone knew who he was. Great signing, I was thinking that he’d get 500k more, but this is excellent.

Ask any Avs fans and they’ll have PTSD. As a Leafs fan I doubt you know or even care about teams like Dallas, but Stars and Avs fans knew he he was after that.

I mean, I know a lot about Dickinson, Faksa, Robertson, Hintz, Lindell, Gurianov, Oettinger, Harley, Bourque, Dellandrea and all your big name players .....

But not Kiviranta ... nor his exploits in the rocky mountains.

Love this deal for the stars. I honestly thought he would get more, so this is a steal for the stars given what Kiviranta can do.

He scored a hat trick in a game 7 last year. I'm a Jets fan (obv by my description) and of course I know about this. I try to keep up with what's going on around the league, especially in the playoffs
