Dumba is the least likely to go somewhere the Wilds System is loaded with left shot D, Dumba is the 2nd best right shot d we have in the whole organization. Scandella or Brodin will be the one gone after this season. Olfsson or Reilly will be up and both are left handed shots. You don't trade a R shot powerplay dman who can play top 4 too hard to find.
I agree his RH shot makes him much more valuable to our future. I went with this unlikely scenario bc Shatty is a RH shot too and is the player we all hope Dumba turns into (offensively gifted, above average defensively). A top 4 of Suter/Spurgeon Brodin/Shatty would be tough to beat in the playoffs. Like I said it won't happen, but it's an interesting scenario.
I like the premise but it's just way too conditional. If we weren't in same division and/or if we weren't making the playoffs, of course STL would do this. And, I would love watching Minnesota hoist the cup because that top4 is nutty.
But reality is that we're likely in the playoffs, therefore Shatty won't get moved inside the central and I hope you lose to every team not named Blackhawks.
as a blues fan id do this but ya not gonna happen Yeo wasn't huge on Dumba and like AK said blues wont deal him to a team that he could come back to burn us.
got 5 starts cause personally I like Dumba and would do this deal
I don't think Yeo liked Dumba's game from his time with the Wild. It doesn't fit well with his system other than a bottom pair/PP specialist role.
Well, then from your experience, who is: one of Yeo's boyz, and someone the wild can afford to lose?
Yoe had some weird thing for playing Prosser (you don't want him) when better options were available. Brodin, Scandella, Spurgeon fit with Yoe better. Of those three Scandella is the one the Wild could lose, but he doesn't do much for the Blues. Coyle and Granlund for FWDs were good Yeobots.
I hope for the Blues sake that Yeo learned from his mistakes. He's a good coach, just his personality fell on deaf ears after awhile.
